Learning Activities
Each unit contains a similar set of learning activities that use a variety of approaches:
- bringing out student's personal experiences (brainstorming)
- information collection (quizzes, web quests)
- analysis (role plays, fact sheet review)
- encouraging action for change (thinking of what can be done to help).
These activities will help students build a body of knowledge, which they will apply when doing their Team Projects. The specific activities are described in each learning unit.
